AL Khamsa Visits SMF

2007 Al Khamsa Convention Attendees Arrive at Silver Maple

Cynthia Culbertson, Melissa Paul, Hansi Heck, Jeanne Craver and Rosemary Doyle were just a few people celebrating the Al Khamsa Arabian horses being presented at Silver Maple Farm.

Isah, a twenty two year old daughter of El Hilal and SMF’s first Arabian mare

Louise Facciola, assistant to Emily Devers, with Isah, who provided a pretty face to inspire the stallions as they were being presented. She is universally loved by all the stallions of Silver Maple!

The program for the presentation concentrated on the stallions with representative progeny from three of the mare families: Glorietasayonaara (Ansata Abu Nazeer x Glorieta Shalima) family, with representatives of four generations presented; the Ansata Haalah family (Ansata Iemhotep x Hasbah) family and the Dance Diva (Raquin RA x Antigua Dance) family.

Ali Saroukh (Ruminaja Ali x Glorietasayonaara)
Ali Saroukh is a senior sire at Silver Maple and several of his offspring were presented to the guests.

Sidon SMF (Ali Saroukh x Shaboura by PVA Kariim)
Sidon is a 2007 colt shown with his embryo transfer dam, Savanah SMF

Halaani SMF (Ali Saroukh x Ansata Haalah)
This 2005 filly represents the Hadban Enzahiyah strain of the Ansata Haalah family at SMF.

Dance Delight SMF (Ali Saroukh X Dance Diva)
Nicknamed “Dee Dee”, this 2007 grey filly is truly a sassy young girl!

Ansata Nile Pharaoh (Ansata Iemhotep x Ansata Misty Nile)
“Pharaoh” is a junior stallion and rising young star at SMF. He sired three fillies in 2007 and is expecting a foal in 2008 out of the mare Bint Bint Sayo (Ali Saroukh x Samura by Anaza El Farid)

Simeon Shai likes the red hat!

“HMMMM, maybe I will try that on!” Shai thinks….

Emily helps Christine by returning the red hat!

Obviously Christine forgives Shai for borrowing her hat -- after all he is the “King”!

Seraphina SMF (* Simeon Shai x Shaboura)
Seraphina is a two-year old filly out of SMF’s exquisite PVA Kariim daughter, Shaboura.

Sybella SMF (Majestic Noble SMF x Samura by Anaza El Farid)
This 2007 filly is the third daughter representing the Glorietasayonaara line through Samura.

Again the Metzes wish to thank the Al Khamsa membership for the opportunity to participate in their annual convention. Henry and Christie both agree that this is a wonderful and interesting group of people and they look forward to being further involved in the future.
